Android, Blackberry OS, iPhone OS, Symbian Os, Palm OS, and Windows Mobile
Engadget wrote a good article regarding how the smart phone market has six major software/OS giants competing to be number one. In my opinion competition is good but six is way too many I think we need to see three major smartphone OS to emerge from the “war”. Thoughts concerns people? Lemme hear it in the comments.

The basic gist of what happened was a cop got into a car accident and they tried to blame it on a woman who came from a Beer Party. I am not sure if the irl was drunk or not, but this shit is fucked up.

Wired posted an interesting article on how people are no longer charging for products, but instead giving it away for free. Now free does not mean entirely free of course there is a catch but it’s one usually that does not require a monetary compensation. Take a look at the article for the full story.

AT&T responded to the blocking of 4Chan. I copied the whole article in case AT&T ever removes it from their site.
From ATT.com
“AT&T Statement Regarding img.4chan.org
Dallas, Texas, July 27, 2009
Beginning Friday, an AT&T customer was impacted by a denial-of-service attack stemming from IP addresses connected to img.4chan.org. To prevent this attack from disrupting service for the impacted AT&T customer, and to prevent the attack from spreading to impact our other customers, AT&T temporarily blocked access to the IP addresses in question for our customers. This action was in no way related to the content at img.4chan.org; our focus was on protecting our customers from malicious traffic.
Overnight Sunday, after we determined the denial-of-service threat no longer existed, AT&T removed the block on the IP addresses in question. We will continue to monitor for denial-of-service activity and any malicious traffic to protect our customers.
Here’s more on AT&T’s efforts to prevent denial-of-service attacks.
About AT&T

Wired.com featured an article on Somali pirates and how they preform piracy on the open waters of Somalia. The article is very informative and I found it enjoyable and easy to read there’s a small flash game at the end of the article. Also hit The Big Picture Link for some Hi-Res photos of “Pirates of Somalia”.

So apparently google had officially created a Apple iPhone app using it’s Google Voice service. The application basically let’s you use your data connection to make phone calls and send text messages for the low price of free. Apple decided to reject the application as it is in bed with AT&T. If this application were to be approved AT&T would lose a lot of money due to less usage of text messaging plans and less phone calls. They would make money on the data end of the side though. Hit the links for more news on this developing story.

New York Magazine examines Goldman Sachs and asks the question “Is Goldman Sachs Evil?”. The company has weathered our recession, payed back the TARP money the government lent to it, and has posted billions of dollars in profits. I really don’t know what to think of this company. All I know is that it is the side that’s winning and I know everyone wants to be on the side that’s winning not on the side that’s losing.

Be it so that it may have been a mistake. The masses think that you did in fact block 4chan AT&T. The backlash will not be good. I wish you luck AT&T.
