Freedom, how long will it last?

Not quite as dramatic as this. I would not be surprised if the company I worked for did this. They let me go on Friday afternoon, Labor day weekend. I had an 18 month contract and was told that the client wished to not renew the contract. I was only 6 months into the contract. No other reason was given to me. I questioned about the 18 months and was told no that’s not what it said, I reread the contract it definetly said 18 months w/e. No big deal, I wasn’t that mad. The plan now is to document and blog about the system that I will be taking advantage of. I will understand why almost everyone wants to come to America and gain citizenship status.
