Although I will add that you are entitled to your views on its “enforcement” as you put it. Although i don’t really see that governments should be ‘enforced’, surely everything should be democratic and the majority should want to become communist.

  2. calumtw Says:

NO, if you read my comment correctly you would realise that the current Chinese government is NOT communist. They are State Capitalists now if you look at their actions, they may have some pseudo communistic traits.
Real communism have never really been achieved, most of the countrys which are trying to go down the leftist route are socialist which is more like a road to communism as they still have a government. just to be clear, under a true communist society there would be no government.

  3. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

if you read my comment correctly, you would realize, that i understood that the Chinese gov is not communist, and my point, is that real communism CANNOT be achieved without “enforcement” therefore it SHOULD NOT EXIST. I DONT think the gov should be able to enforce such things. Thats why i said, it is a good “idea”, but not attainable, because we are human… ie it sounds good, but not good. i said, if you read it again, it sounds good but cant work because its like “peeing in the wind”

  4. calumtw Says:

for the record Im not communist, I’m just really interested in politics and thought that this video was misleading and propaganda in nature, which i think we both agree on.

  5. calumtw Says:

As i said in my comment, communism is not communism if brought about via enforcement, any political ideology which requires enforcement could be classed as dictatorship, its suppose to be revolutionary (IMO, not revisionist) i.e. people would actively want to become communist so there would be no need to ‘enforce’ it.

  6. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

yup, and we also agree that there has never been true communism, because it cant exist, because it would require a dictator, or a big intrusive government, which cancels out the communist ideals, therefore, it is not possible. I COMPLETELY understand what you are saying, and was just pointing out that the ideal situation where everyone “wants” communism cannot occur, and would still need enforcement. That would defeat the purpose, so its kinda like an oxymoron –ie again PEEING IN THE WIND.

  7. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

yes we do agree, and probably on more things than you though. Just pointing out that Communism is also propagated, and must have a gov because in no way will “everyone” say “hey lets all be communist with out a gov.” So then it isnt really communism, because in order to give to someone, you have to take from someone else, so who does the taking… a government. The ideas are propaganda, because they CANNOT exist naturally. But everything is propaganda.

  8. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

communism IS propaganda, because of the fact that it CANNOT truely exist, it is an idea propagated by the powers that be that WANT communism for their own agenda. It SOUNDS good, and they have propagated it to you. Look up who started the idea… it sounds good to the people so the people go for it, and look at what has happened in history under “so called” communism. It is propaganda in itself, because it is “idealism” basically, and when people go for it they get an intrusive gov instead.

  9. calumtw Says:

Its also true to say that in my opinion the Stalinist type of communism most associated with communism in the west leads to dictatorship and totalitarianism.

  10. calumtw Says:

the socialist state would be created through democratic elections, for instance in most capitalist countries they have a socialist or communist party running. If this party comes to power through elections then it is its job to bring about the social reforms (public healthcare, fair minimum wage etc) that would pave the way for communism, this obviously doesn’t happen overnight and I agree that communism has never existed in the true sense, not including small rural communist communities

  11. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

cool. what exactly is your definition of a socialist state after the dismantling of the socialist government. and how do you get everyone to “want” a communist state? who would guide or initiate the gradual movement to communism? i am sincere in asking these questions, not trying to defeat you in some debate or anything… just at this point in my thinking, cant see what you mean.

  12. calumtw Says:

and thats your opinion. I think that it could exist through the creation of a socialist state and the gradual movement to communism with the dismantling of the socialist government.

  13. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

    Democracy passes into despotism.
Democracy… is a charming form of government, full of variety and disorder; and dispensing a sort of equality to equals and unequals alike. Dictatorship naturally arises out of democracy, and the most aggravated form of tyranny and slavery out of the most extreme liberty.
    –Plato
well, i thought that is what you meant, but that sounds like big gov to me. who enforces minimum wage? government. just like ours. look at how tyranny runs the US

  14. calumtw Says:

I don’t think of US or UK governments are particularly democratic.

  15. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

look at all the tyrants that have democratically elected… look at how America and GB are, with their mighty tyrannical empires backed by huge guns, enforce “Democracy” all over the world. I wonder why, because it is easy to manipulate. Look at all the “jackals” put into place by the CIA by starting democracies, so that they can put who ever they want in power for economical reasons. The US was once great, when it was a Constitutional Republic and had a limited gov, but very briefly.

  16. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

health care and wages are not human rights to be enforced by a government. if you give someone health care it is taking from someone else. like here in the US…companies are going out of business because they cant pay their employees and still make a profit, so the gov raises minimum wage (to combat their own inflation of the money supply) and now the bankrupt company must somehow pay more to the employees… so the companies are not “allowed” to be prosperous.

  17. misngfingr Says:

So the point of this video is what exactly? That we’re all socialists, we only vary by degree?

  18. 893160007 Says:

105 bullshit graph not always true the best is a square higer up is more social control so communists top left facists top right libertarians bottom right and i dont know the term for the other but liberals are bottom left but not to the extreme and conservatives are the opposite corner the graph they use seems biased toward right

  19. calumtw Says:

I didnt say I dont support democracy, only that i think that the US and UK governments are not democratic.

  20. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

right like my first statement about both democratic and communist states, “sound” good, but neither really are. They are both PROPAGATED by GOVERNMENTS. ALL forms of government want to get bigger… it is the nature of any business… to grow, so THE ONLY system that will work is one that is restricted by a constitution by and for the people. THE ONLY REASON A GOVERNMENT CAN EXIST IS TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE. thats it. the only reason. not to enforce any right. to protect rights

  21. dankeewolnir4042 Says:

so the communist chinese gov is not really a government… Communism “sounds” good… that no one really owns anything. Just like Democracy “sounds” good. How can Communism be a political ideology without having a government. If you want everyone to be part of a communist socio-economic structure someone hast to ENFORCE it. Who do you think would do that? A government. So it sounds good, but cant work…like peeing in the wind. But i agree this is a form of propaganda…like anything else

  22. mamypokopants Says:

i think that communism needs to be defined properly. true communism in its purest form is an anarchy and a utopia. therefore it has never occured

  23. calumtw Says:

Communism is a socio-economic structure and political ideology that promotes the establishment of an egalitarian, classless, stateless society based on common ownership and control of the means of production and property in general.
i.e no government. How can you say communism is a total government.
This is total propaganda and a waste of your time to watch. Please, if you want to find out about communism or leftist ideology read Marx and Ingles etc. visit a leftist forum or something.

  24. emilioTOMASbarca Says:

    ararchy leads to totalitarianism

  25. abuali89 Says:

but who will protect you from those who attack? anarchy would be perfect if everyone was peaceful and not violent.
