Freedom is Most Overrated Political Issue of 2009: John McLaughlin

Posted by admin on February 8th, 2010

www.infowars.com Proving just how out of touch with the American people political pundits and news anchors have become, John mclaughlin, host of The mclaughlin Group, has declared the concept of freedom as the most overrated political issue of 2009. The host of the long running public affairs show made the announcement during The mclaughlin Group 2009 Year-End Awards special. A dvertisement While the rest of the panel on the show described global warming, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and leading bankers as most overrated, mclaughlin himself took a shot at the core concept behind the Bill Of Rights and the US Constitution. The most overrated is freedom, mclaughlin said. When faced with economic uncertainty, people dont want freedom. When they cant see their economic future, they want the nanny state. he blathered

Out of touch is an understatement! What an idiot! But “Moba Talk” has a point in that too many have ALLOWED the nanny state to happen. We need to begin voting all such politicians OUT in 2010 and keep at it THROUGH the 2012 presidential election! The silent majority, who ISN’T for the nanny state, needs to get active!

  4. MobaTalk Says:

Well, sorry, but “the people” (meaning the majority) DO love the nanny state – no OTHER reason would explain why they just sit on their butts and do nothing.
