The Chamber of deputies wasnt bought off by the us govt. You sound like the NWO conspirators who say whenever there was something that didnt fit their infowars worldview, they just say NWO did it. They declared Allende a felon in conjunction with supreme court rulings.

The mitrokhin archive was notes on KGB documents, and numerous intelligence figures have sayed its legit.

Honduras wasn’t instigated by the us govt. Otherwise, there wouldn’t have been sanctions and suspension from the OAS.

Firstly, this failure does count, because it was an actual coup in Venezuela, but then Chavez was returned. It wasn’t like it was a coup that didn’t even get to the coup stage.

Secondly, the Chilean congress was almost completely bought out by the U.S. govt. This is acknowledged in the declassified docs. Go read the National Security archives.

Again, the Mitrokhin “archive” was handwritten notes.

The 18th coup is Honduras just recently. Read Eva Gollinger’s work for U.S. involvement.

Which one is this referring to? The 1970 coup attempts which snafu’d? or th 1973 coup? Either way, Kissinger didn’t instigate the coup.

the sentence mentioned as [garbled]. The CIA Inspector General (appointed by the Church committee) went through the CIA actions in Chile at the time with a Fine Tooth comb, and agreed with the Church committee’s conclusions.

You seem to have, very conveniently, deleted every word in Kissinger’s sentence that concurs with Kornbluh’s statements that the CIA “helped” the Chilean military & “created the conditions” for the coup to induce them into taking over.

“The CIA and other sectors of the U.S. government, moreover, were directly involved in operations designed to create a “coup climate” in which the overthrow of Chilean democracy could and would take place.” (p114)

Kissinger admission is on the record.

At that time (early 1970s), the Church committee were breathing down the neck of the CIA and would have pulled the plug on them if the CIA tried something as overt as a coup at that time.

Personally, i think Operation Sealion was more plausible than your version of Pinohet’s rise to power.

We dont know what those documents were about. The coup plans were aborted after general schneider was killed in a botched attempt.
