UK Protests Gun Ban – Banning Guns Only Disarms Law Abiding Citizens

Posted by admin on September 3rd, 2010

People are finally waking up in the UK and standing up to the outrageous encroachments made by their government and the EU on their liberties and freedoms. Brought to you by The Kick Them All Out Project www.KickThemAllOut.com and Fire Congress Campaign, the only campaign out there that gives us a powerful way to make sweeping changes in our government sooner rather than later.

The right is easy – everyone can and even MUST defence his/herself. It can be done in any way. That’s very simply: “Are you attacking me? – So then, I can even kill you”. And nobody will take you to the prison, because everyone has got the right, to defend his life. Amen.

  2. scottishlad1987 Says:

@Snipe4261 well no, if i had a gun then they surely would only attack me if they had guns too. i fancy my chances agaisnt junkie robbers who carry knives, rather than guns- it doesn’t take any strength to pull a trigger. you say it won’t raise crime levels, and i’m sure it won’t- most of the people who would cause the crime are doing so already. i’m just concerned about the murder rate reaching levels of countries like usa’s.

  3. Snipe4261 Says:

@scottishlad1987 . . . It’s a compromise either way but I would rather the people I can usually trust have the guns. Where I live approximately 1 in every 23 adults has a concealed weapons license. I have never seen a gun in public and the crime rate here is very low, and it’s because responsible people who are willing to defend themselves keep the criminals in check and protect the rest of us by their presence alone.

  4. Snipe4261 Says:

@scottishlad1987 And if you had a gun they would be dead. When it comes to guns being available to the general public for the purpose of self defense it’s either all or nothing. If no one can get a gun legally then some criminals might have them but they will mostly have to use other weapons. If any law abiding citizen can get a gun with no difficulty then the criminals will be too scared of their victims turning the tables on them, so they won’t commit crimes to begin with . . .

  5. scottishlad1987 Says:

@tock101 our police don’t carry guns. so i will call them next time then, ok?

  6. scottishlad1987 Says:

@Snipe4261 well i’ve never even seen a gun, and i’ve encountered some pretty nasty people. i’ve been chased by people with knives though- if they had guns i would be dead.

@rulebrittaniaPTBB just recently a man in cumbria went on a gun rampage indescriminantly killing and injuring bystaders so look at the evidence before you speak.

    Good video! Well done!!

  9. pawnmaniak Says:

@rulebrittaniaPTBB take a bomb proof glass and a bomb proof door you pinko

  10. Snipe4261 Says:

There you go, gun control does not work. Its simple, remove the guns from the hands of law abiding citizens and crime won’t go down because the law abiding citizens don’t commit crime. Making guns illegal wont stop criminals from getting guns because they never obtained guns legally in the first place.

  11. nelsonsilk Says:

@rulebrittaniaPTBB do you think criminals will listen to the laws???? you are far to ignorant, and you live in lala land

  12. tock101 Says:

@rulebrittaniaPTBB Next time you are in major trouble. Don’t call a cop for they carry guns, Call your lawyer, mayor, rep, etc. For if you call for a cop, your are calling someone with a gun to protect you. If you do, you become a hypcrite. Even Michael Moore has a gun.

  13. scottishlad1987 Says:

@Snipe4261 and don’t kid yourself, if crime levels are low in your area it is NOT becuase one in 23 people have a gun locked away in their house, with the ammunition locked away in a seperate room- which is required by law.

  14. Snipe4261 Says:

@scottishlad1987 Believe it or but the murder rate in the US is not as bad as the media would like you to think. The rate at which murders are comitted with GUNS is higher than anywhere else in the world but that is not suprising as US citizens have more guns per capita than anywhere else in the world. The US does have the highest overall murder rate in the INDUSTRIALIZED world but it also has average overall crime rates. The US is actually the 85th most peacuful country in the world out of 149.

  15. Snipe4261 Says:

@scottishlad1987I don’t live in California, which as far as I’m aware is the only place in the US that has gun laws like that. When I said concealed weapons license I meant a license which allows you to legally have a gun hidden on your person and loaded, so yes It does make a difference. In the US about 40% of all households have guns in them (most of which people can legally keep loaded), so that is a significant factor as well.

  16. scottishlad1987 Says:

@Snipe4261 sorry ithought you lived in britain, and that would mean you had to follow the rules i ponted out. i really don’t know how you can say that the murder rate isn’t that high, it’s a lot higher than britain’s, with around the same crime rate.

  17. Stanislaw93 Says:

Look for some example – in Poland, everyone can have a knife, baseball bat, katana sword and completely any “cold weapon” and also everybody aged +18, can buy any firearms, which were created before year 1850 and modern REPLICAS of them – like Colt Revolvers…. WITHOUT any permission/card/licence! Anything. And what happens? Streets are very safety. And no body is scared, to go for a walk at night, even in the dark alleys.

  18. Stanislaw93 Says:

But here, in the country, where about every second Indian or Black man (please don’t, that I’m a racist, because I am not – I am just telling you the true) has got a knife or gun in the street and no body ask them for any licence, then nobody normal citizen, can’t carry completely anything, because he/she don’t want to break the law and go to the prison…

  19. Stanislaw93 Says:

UK is probably only one country in the world, where Police haven’t got any pistol or completely any distance weapon? Is anybody asking a criminal, for his license to have a knife or a gun in the public places? In the whole of the world, pepper spray is categorised as a “wepon” to SELF DEFENCE. But only here, it is an offensive “WEAPON”. Look for USA, look for any NORMAL country. In USA, when some criminal is going into my house, I can kill him and don’t ask for anything.

  20. Stanislaw93 Says:

Possession of weapons were banned by Hitler, Stalin… also, in the Communist China, people can not have any weapons. Oh, poor England … Country in which the criminal has more rights than the victim… So I am asking all of you – is it democratic, or communist country? No, I am sorry – in the past, in communist countries, like Poland, East Germany etc., people could have a knife or any thing, they would like to have. And now, there is that same situation.

  21. MarineWMU911 Says:

@rulebrittaniaPTBB Finally, my argument here has ended, you seem to wish all people to be victim only, unable to do anything to save their own lives save cower.. attempt to flee.. or suicidally charge a heavily armed man with a tipless/stab proof knife. Switerland REQUIRES by law all males of military age to be armed with assault weapons (which they keep after their term of service) and they have gun crime so low regular stats aren’t kept.. Gun free is an illusion, we cannot uninvent the gun

  22. MarineWMU911 Says:

@rulebrittaniaPTBB Case and point, I won’t be a helpless victim and I refuse to allow a madman to dictate to me solely the terms of how my life will end. No, a firearm is not a guarantee you will survive or even be able to influence the outcome of a mass shooting.. But it gives you an option and a much better chance of doing so. Firearms kill 25,000-30,000 people in the US annually, more than half being suicide. FBI estimates guns were used in self defense 2.5 million times in 2008

  23. MarineWMU911 Says:

@rulebrittaniaPTBB Now another college, Appalachian State, disgruntled student shoots two faculty, and then is stopped by two students who ran to get personal firearms from their vehicles and a 3rd unarmed.. The to armed students were sworn LEOs and the 3rd was a former Marine.. Shooting in which shooter was confronted by others armed.. 3 dead.. 3 or 32? I’d much rather have been at ASU then VT because ASU students could do something about it

  24. MarineWMU911 Says:

@rulebrittaniaPTBB your argument here has one glaring flaw.. like over there in Britain nearly all those school campus have a stringent ban on the carriage of firearms, Virginia Tech was being hailed as a model example of how ‘safe’ it is on campus when guns are banned. Fort Hood, soldiers can’t carry and NCOs on duty have no requirement to carry and thus cannot, so they too were unarmed.. soldiers couldn’t shoot back because of a rule.. 32 and 13 dead respectively

  25. rulebrittaniaPTBB Says:

@MarineWMU911 so your telling me stuff like that doesnt happen on a monthly basis in america then? People dont get shot daily because your police have more guns? It wouldnt have mattered where it happened he would have still shot people. Washington sniper killed how many people before he finally got caught? And what about the seemingly weekly college shootings you seem to be so proud of in america – i guess guns saved everybody in those cases right?
