Aristotle Proves Right Wing Assholes Wrong 2500 Years Ago

Posted by admin on February 5th, 2012

Having begun to re read my fav philosophers from ancient times through to the industrial revolution. I thought it important to show how even 2500 odd years ago Aristotle realized what was ‘real wealth’. I am indeed devoid of his intellect but humbly submit my opinions. Please feel free to correct any errors. The full text of “Politics” will be loaded over the coming months in it’s entirety. Links with “Stateless Liberty and psuedoscience.” www.youtube.com

@Kroban3 “the history of fiat currencies is one of failure” Could you please point to a world currency today or for the last say 49 years that is backed by gold or any other base metal? You do realize society lives in the electronic age, exchange is done is milliseconds not in hours. You also realize contrary to the claims made by your ilk “gold” beside the fact it is made when a star goes nova is not really that special. That in fact it is not “naturally special” That it is man that values it

Not a fan of people talking about the ‘propper purpose’ of an object or the ‘natural’ purpose of it… getting wealth from retail is a good way to run society, going by how well society has been since we started trading more, seems a good idea… hoarded wealth can be traded for shoes, so is kinda true wealth (with lots of stability)… though giving people without a shoe a shoe is better for them. Glad he knew the gold standard was BS though.

  3. franks2732 Says:

Notes, Aristotle separates, which I poorly stated separates ” real wealth” “wealth acquisition limited to the household” and the unnatural practice of “wealth acquisition for no other need than to acquire it” In Aristotle’s view (I support his claim) real wealth and wealth acquisition are natural when limited to need but unnatural when acquired without limits. This separation smacks in the face of todays Right Wingers. His reference to base metals holds equally true in his day as it does today

@unassumption The flaws in my commentary are more than clear but after seeing Hannibal’s video I rushed this out. Aristotle is not saying “retail trade is bad” he is saying it is unnatural when used to acquire wealth without limits. He values “trade for wealth” but does not see it as a ‘natural right’. In his mind it is a “skill” acquired as a result of society. I will redo this video with the corrections I am thinking of now. But I will not pull it. I want to see how my mind tics in the morrow

Here you go again, making brainy videos that I have to pay attention to.
    Thanks.

    good vid. I

  7. Kroban3 Says:

To all the paper bugs out there. Why not allow gold or gold-backed dollars to compete alongside your beloved fiat currency. What are you afraid of? do you fear that most people would prefer gold coin or gold-backed dollars for payment? the history of fiat currencies is one of failure.

  8. HannibaltheVictor13 Says:

@Kroban3 so why had there been so many depressions on the gold standerd and only one on fiat currency

  9. franks2732 Says:

    @watgaanhieraan great point!

  10. watgaanhieraan Says:

@franks2732 Actually “wealth acquisition” in terms of fiat instruments is way beyond actual wealth in the world, bond market 80 trillion thats about 12000USD for every human being, old people, kids and dirt poor fuckers that barter mostly. Equity market 35 trillion, unfunded liabilities USA alone 60 trillion next 20 years so more for the bond market. Good luck expanding the money supply to pay that, LMFAO.

  11. franks2732 Says:

    @watgaanhieraan LMFAO

  12. watgaanhieraan Says:

@franks2732 but Franks it’s so shiny? how can you not love it have you caressed the precious.

  13. franks2732 Says:

@Kroban3 you do know you can still trade your gold etc as much as you want? And most people honestly don’t give a dam about “gold” or any base metal. The rich man and the poor man do not alike, they care that they get paid. You do realize that fiat money is any type of money that the ‘state’ declares currency? From coins to even gold. You do know that “paper money’ need not be fiat currency.

  14. watgaanhieraan Says:

@franks2732 An aspect of her nature, arrogance not narcissism, actually Hitler may have received some inspiration from the Dalai Lama in the form of the “swastika”.

  15. franks2732 Says:

@watgaanhieraan Do you mean my pointing out that she and Aristotle totally objected as to the nature of “man”? How dare I? I am going to do a video about your comment on “money” i.e. fiat currency. I will give you a big mention. Yes you will be seen in positive light lol

  16. franks2732 Says:

@watgaanhieraan Does that not give yo a hint as to her nature? It’s like saying Hitler was inspired by the Dali Lama

  17. watgaanhieraan Says:

I have to admit I cringed when Ann Rand said the only inspiration she has had was her own brain and Aristotle for her works, man that does seem a bit conceited though I still like the old bat.

  18. watgaanhieraan Says:

What the hell is this Franks using Aristotle this is suppossed to Ayn Rand’s only inspiration, I hope this does not mean you have defiled our sacred lady.

  19. franks2732 Says:

@watgaanhieraan I knew their was a reason I don’t like them buddhists, which incarnation was he? Off to assault some monks lol. Re Rand, Really “arrogance not narcissism” the fucking witches hero was a serial killing child rapist

  20. franks2732 Says:

@watgaanhieraan LOL and I gathered that but on must remember I am in the camp that advocates an end to your ideology. So I will use within reason any method possible to discredit it (not that its hard). And having had to read the bitch I understand her appeal to discontented conservative youth. Lucky for me and society in general by the time the pubescent male has reached adulthood for the most part they “grow up’ and disregard the evil cows words. You are such an example. You have a brain

  21. watgaanhieraan Says:

@franks2732 I was just being flippant, no I don’t know much about Aristotle read a few quotes as is refered to often, I read a bit of the Republic once and I think that was Plato. An honourable mention I feel honoured.

  22. TheForwardGaze Says:

Also, I’ve tried to read Aristotle. My respect goes out to anyone who’s done it. I found it harder than Das Capital.

  23. TheForwardGaze Says:

I earned a lot of “wealth” speculating in real estate. But I didn’t produce anything of social value, or use my skills or creativity beyond some carpentry and plumbing. I simply exploited an opportunity and benefited from some good luck and greed. And the wealth I acquired was through a market manipulated by a small group of bankers and government bureaucrats. Right-wingers would call me a great American and give me a high-five, but I’d rather design and build houses than speculate in them.
