October 22, 2011 — The Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition heard from six Republican Presidential candidates at its Presidential Candidate Forum in Des Moines, Iowa Saturday evening. Speakers included former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Reps. Ron Paul (R-TX) and Michele Bachmann (R-MN) as well as former US Senator Rick Santorum. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus also spoke at the event. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman did not attend the forum. Neither candidate is spending much time or money in the first caucus state.
