ACTA – ‘The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement’ is a proposed plurilateral agreement for the purpose of establishing international standards on intellectual property rights enforcement. ACTA would establish a new international legal framework that would create its “own governing body outside existing international institutions” such as – the World Trade Organization (WTO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) or the United Nations. An open letter signed by many organizations, including Consumers International, EDRi (27 European civil rights and privacy NGOs), the Free Software Foundation (FSF), the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), ASIC (French trade association for web 2.0 companies), and the Free Knowledge Institute (FKI), states that “the current draft of ACTA would profoundly restrict the fundamental rights and freedoms of European citizens, most notably the freedom of expression and communication privacy.” [UPDATE] – It seems, SOPA and PIPA were just distractions! while they signed a copyright treaty “ACTA” behind the curtain… US, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, and many EU nations have already signed this secret censorship pact last year in 2011. The Recent country to join the list is – Poland. video.nixxon.net www.stop-acta.info Pls sign this petition – www.avaaz.org

The First Amendment is one run-on sentence that enshrines five of the most essential liberties guaranteed by American democracy: the freedom of religion, the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, and the right to petition the government. The First Amendment is the core of all civil rights and civil liberties law in the United States

Aaron Swartz, Executive Director of demandprogress.org discuss everything from copyright infringement, to privacy verses free speech, and national security; Wikileaks. And explains why this is a right.” The governments of the world are shit scared of the Internet. They are all over it now like flies trying to find and implement ways of controlling and corrupting it the way they already (for now) corrupt and control our lives. Dont let them do it folks. Nationwide NDAA Congressional Protest – Feb. 3rd www.facebook.com Americans throughout the country will gather outside congressional offices Feb. 3rd from noon to 7 pm to protest NDAA 2012 (S. 1867 – National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012). NDAA allows for Americans to be indefinitely detained without access to an attorney or a trial by jury. The objective of our demonstration is to have our congressmen repeal SEC. 1031 and 1032 of NDAA 2012 which allows for our indefinite detainment without due process. If you are a member of a liberty oriented organization or meetup please notify other members of the event. Participants should notify the local and national media of their protests. Congress and President Obama have declared war on Americans. The last time America was declared a war zone President Roosevelt authorized the internment of Americans with Executive Order 9066, issued February 19, 1942. Senator Graham has said that America is part of the battlefield, and as such, Americans can be captured, interrogated, and killed with no due process. NDAA 2012 repeals the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th amendments to the Constitution. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land and declares our right to due process. No law shall supersede it. We have a right to our day in court with a jury of our peers. Once again, our government has treaded on our heritage and our Constitution. Do something about it!

Just 5% have trust in legislative branch Steve Watson www.infowars.net www.prisonplanet.tv www.infowars.com October 4, 2011 Amidst historic lows in approval ratings for the federal government, Americans still have confidence in local and state governments, according to a new Gallup poll, a clear indication that the people are sick and tired of big government over reach and wish to see problems dealt with by their locally elected representatives. “Two-thirds of Americans have a great deal or fair amount of confidence in their local governments to handle local problems, and a solid majority feel the same way about their state government.” reports Gallup on findings from its annual Governance poll. The poll found that just 5% have a “great deal of confidence” in the legislative branch, with less than a third expressing any form of confidence whatsoever. The Executive branch faired little better with just 17% expressing a great deal of confidence and less than half in total expressing any form of confidence. “…state and local officials could find that the public trust they enjoy would provide them strong public support for taking more control from Washington” notes Gallup, suggesting that education, health and human services, transportation, environmental regulations, and crime control could see more local and state influence. Last week, findings indicated unprecedented levels of negativity toward the federal government, with a record high of 81% of Americans indicating …
